Black & Burgundy

I’ve been wanting a trench coat for quite some time and finally got this black one.  I really like the casual & edgy feel that it brings to the look.  There are so many different ways to style a coat like this, but I decided to wear it over a burgundy on burgundy outfit.  I’ve worn the hell out of these pants as you might remember them from a ton of posts last year.  I styled them with a burgundy blazer once, so this time I wanted to pair them with a matching sweater.   I went with the black coat, pumps and bag to balance out and complete the outfit.

 I’ve been making more of a conscious effort to not over think anything.  This goes for getting dressed each day, but also so many other things in my life.  Over thinking can kill creativity and it can also play with your head too much.  As a scorpio, we are known to be deep thinkers.  This is a constant battle for me!  On another note, I hope that some of you can make it out tomorrow night to the Dynamite Store at the Staten Island Mall from 5-9pm for a holiday shopping party!  All details HERE.
