Cozy Chic

I love pairing unexpected pieces together, like this front button denim skirt and oversized cardigan.  I think that this is a great way to show how you can transition this skirt into the fall.  It really is such a versatile piece.  I wouldn’t normally think to wear both of these together, but I’m happy that I styled them this way.  My goal was to create something that was both cozy and chic.  An outfit like this can easily take you from the day straight into the night. 

I am sort of obsessing over the color grey at the moment and think that it just might be the new black for me this season.  In terms of the styling, I wanted to keep the whole look in neutral tones.  I love how the denim, grey and white blend perfectly with these snakeskin pumps.  I chose my loose fitted white tee to keep this outfit more on the casual/relaxed side.  Both this skirt and the cardigan are two pieces that I know I will continue to wear in multiple ways through out the seasons.
