Today’s post is an introduction to the Elie Tahari for Kohls DesigNation collection which launched last week, both online and in stores. The great thing about Kohls DesigNation collections is that it brings the runway to real life, making it much more accessible and affordable for us. This particular collection was inspired by the chic, urban sophistication of New York City. I absolutely love NYC, so it was really cool to see it brought to life through these pieces. This is the first of two different looks that I put together from this collab. The second one will be coming this week too.
I love mixing different textures so I am all about the cropped sweater over a long button down trend that seems to be extremely popular this fall season. This top is actually one piece and not two, which makes it even better. The button down part has the Chrysler building print on it which definitely makes it very New York. It’s loose fitted and super comfortable too. The weather has still been very beautiful lately so these light layers worked perfectly. I decided to pair this with mesh scuba leggings from the collection. I liked the detailing on the sides and of course, you can never go wrong with black!
