{Faux} Fur

What I’m Wearing 

Faux Fur Vest: Dynamite [similar & black version] | Sweater: Forever21 [old, similar style] 

Jeans: TopShop | Boots: Stuart Weitzman [similar] | Hat: H&M [old, similar] 

I wore this outfit last week for a few things in the city so I wanted to make sure that I shot it for the blog since it’s so cozy and perfect for the 60 degree weather we are currently having. How am I not wearing a heavy coat in December?!  Crazy, right?  Not complaining though.  I’ll take it and hope it stays this way for awhile.  I was sort of in a rush to get out and take these photos since we were chasing the daylight so I forgot my bag at home. 🙁 I initially used my mini cross body for this look though! I can’t stop using that thing, I swear. 

I’ve been stuck in this black on black phase lately and I sort of don’t know how to get out of it just yet. It’s really become my daily go-to. I enjoy mixing it up though by incorporating other fun pieces to the outfits like this faux fur vest. It’s such a great layering piece and it’s extremely versatile.  I love the way it makes this outfit pop out so much more.  Fur vests can sometimes be seen as a casual piece, so I wanted to create something simple, yet super chic.  I think the best way to do this was by wearing my OTK boots [will wear these forever] and my old faithful wide brim hat.  Seriously though, how is this thing still in tact?
