What I’m Wearing

I admit I felt like I was wearing a rug, a super chic rug, but I absolutely loved it. Ha!  This faux fur jacket is seriously so warm and cozy.  It’s actually considered a “shag” jacket.  The word shag always makes me think of Austin Powers.  This style is most definitely trending this winter season as I’m sure you’ve been seeing it just about everywhere.  I especially love it in this burgundy color.  I tried this on during my stay in the city for NYFW and knew I needed to take it home with me. I was totally shedding everywhere though.  I literally left a trail behind me so I guess if we were out together and you got lost you would be able to find me! 😉

In terms of the styling, I couldn’t help but do some more black on black.  I’m wearing these suede leggings that are so freaking comfortable and soft.  I did some double suede action by pairing them with my OTK boots.  Even though it’s not super noticeable, I did some texture mixing with the suede and faux fur.  Mixing textures is one of my favorite things to do when creating outfits.  I threw in my widest brim hat to complete the look and to add in a pop of print into the mix. I think this look is one of my favorites this season!

I’ve been so happy to share tons of new content this week so that I can make up for all of those days I didn’t post while traveling.  It’s always a great feeling to have something new to share.  Hope you’ve been enjoying this week’s posts so far.  Have a fab Wednesday. <3
