 I wore this a few nights ago to a fun rooftop event for Guess & Vanity Fair.  The city view was incredible!  I shared a few posts on my instagram.  I am kind of obsessed with this romper.  I love the mint and lace detailing.  It’s so summery.  My only wish is that I had a longer torso so that the lace part would show more when standing still. [ha!] #shortgirlprobs.  Rompers are such a great alternative for dresses when going out at night.  I decided to do a bit of color blocking by adding this pink bag and statement necklace.  Initially, I had kept everything toned down with neutrals and it was way too blah, especially since it photographs very light.  The extra pop of color definitely made this look stand out so much more.  

Here’s a crazy story about the night I wore this.  On my way to the event, my car completely died in the middle of the West Side Highway just as I was stopping at a red light.  It was really scary and I couldn’t stop panicking.  I didn’t have my roadside assistance information with me and could not get a hold of my mom or sister.  Luckily, a man pulled over to come help me and pushed my car to the side of the road just as a tow truck was driving by.  They seriously saved me as I could have been stuck there for a long time.  Thankfully, I was able to have my car towed back to Jersey and my friend Chevy came to the rescue with an uber to go to the event with me.  After all of that, I just wanted to have a drink [or 2] and enjoy my night.
