Happy SPRING loves! It feels so good to put the winter season behind us, although it did snow a little bit yesterday, ha! This weather has just been so insane over these past several months. Hopefully we can get back to some consistency though.
To be completely honest I had absolutely no idea what I wanted to wear and shoot over the weekend. In fact, I went a few days without doing it because I didn’t want to force it. I think I have definitely learned throughout these last few years that if for whatever reason I am not in the mood or I am not feeling it, then I just shouldn’t do it. My forced outfits/shoots never turn out the way that I want them to anyway. Any other bloggers feel me on this?! Speaking of this, you might have realized that I went from posting 4-5 looks per week down to 2-3 only. I feel much better doing it this way so that it leaves room for other content and so that I am not overwhelming you guys with outfit after outfit. It also makes me focus more on the quality instead of the quantity.
Whenever I am in some sort of style rut, I think that I slowly break out of it by grabbing some of my go-to pieces and creating a new look with them. I know I’ve mentioned it before plenty of times, but black, red and leopard will always be one of my favorite combinations. I’ve worn this little red moto jacket several times, but I don’t believe that I have ever posted it on here in a separate style post. I got this months back before Ireland and actually wore it with a skirt and my OTK boots on the last night. I also wore it to a bebe event during fashion week with red lace up heels, white denim and a white top. This time though, I stuck with my “style comfort” and decided on black on black. I love the versatility of this one jacket though. I’m pretty sure that I will continue to wear it in many ways. I’ve been wearing hats so much lately, mostly because I haven’t really felt like doing my hair. Hey, just being honest. 😉 Wide brims are a life saver.
What are some of you go-to combos?
Hope you all have a lovely day!
Looks divine, such a brilliant shade of red. Great post!
