My Sunday basics consist of a white tee, my favorite distressed denim cut offs and of course, a cold brew. I have truly worn the hell out of these shorts. I literally wear them at least twice a week. They have been the most frequent item in my washing machine this summer. I tried to keep things somewhat low key on Saturday & Sunday. Sometimes, I just love to get out, grab an iced coffee and hang outside by myself for a little while. It’s the little things.
Tropical island anyone? These shoes make me want to take a trip! I have not worn them yet, so I really wanted to get a good pic of them because they’re so pretty and different from any other shoe that I have. I’ve been trying to get a bit more creative with some of my instagram shots. I just love having more of a variety in my feed so it’s not just me and the same pics over and over.
I took this shot the other day when I wasn’t feeling too well. I sometimes struggle with getting a good night’s rest and it takes its toll on me the next day. I probably could have slept the entire day though! I admit that I definitely have those days where I wish I could just stay in bed and do absolutely nothing.
LOVE is the ANSWER. <3 This is one of my favorite walls in NYC, right by The HighLine. I have a real appreciation for street art and love scouting the city for walls like this one.
Puppy love & puppy kisses! I took this shot at the perfect moment! I seriously love this little guy so much. He just lost his manhood this weekend, poor Mikey! Him and Kiko fill my life with so much love and joy. They are my babies.
I look like I am meditating or something, but I really wanted to sit on that ledge with the view behind me! I took this at Garret Mountain last week in a different section from my recent blog post. There are beautiful views everywhere. Seriously, there is just so much inspiration all around us. I love having moments like this one.
One of the things that I love about doing 21 Day Fix is that it makes me want to try out new recipes. I have a major obsession with avocado and I am always looking for new ways to eat them. I came across this recipe on Pinterest to make baked avocado with egg. It was beyond delicious! I can’t even explain it. You have to try it!
So far, this is the only time I went into a pool all summer. What the hell?! I need to change this before the fall comes. I still have not gone to the beach! I took this at the pool at my sister’s new place. Try asking your pregnant sister to take a photo of you. She was not too happy about it. lol.
The Alchemist is one of my favorite books, ever. I read it a few years ago and it really changed my perspective on life. It’s one of those must-read books that will truly leave a lasting impression on you. I started to read it again now that I am in a different point in my life. I highly suggest this book if you have not checked it out yet. You will not regret it.
My grandpa is the most important man in my life and I visit him as often as I can. He is now in his 90s and still going strong. He is my father’s dad so I am really blessed to still be able to have him in my life. Having my grandpa here is like having a piece of my dad. I see so much of him through him.
Thanks for checking out today’s post!
