I’m back! I was sick over the weekend and decided to take advantage and just completely disconnect from the internet world. It honestly felt so good to not post to social media or to be checking my phone constantly. I was able to catch up on sleep, get things done around the house and just refresh and recharge myself. I highly recommend doing this from time to time. I am feeling so much better now. It’s also been absolutely freezing these past few days, so staying warm and cozy at home was the only thing I wanted to do. On a rare occasion last week, it was actually in the 60s one day so I shot this look. There is no way that I would be able to wear it this week though!
What I’m Wearing
Overall Dress: Forever21 [love this style] | Sweater: Forever21 [similar style]
Booties: Target [no longer avail, love these] | Clutch: Michael Kors | Hat: H&M
This little dress was a gift from my mom for Christmas and I really wanted to wear it before the temps dropped too much. To be honest, I had no idea how I wanted to wear it at first. If it were the summer, I would have paired it with a crop top for sure, but since we are in the middle of winter that obviously was not going to happen. So instead, I opted for a turtleneck knit and layered a long sleeve shirt underneath it for some extra warmth. I have been eyeing overall dresses for awhile now and love how they have come back in style. Overalls in general made a very big comeback in the fashion industry over these past few years. Initially, I was not the biggest fan, but over time I have grown to love them again.
I feel like this outfit is a bit different for me, but that’s what I like the most. These booties threw in a nice edgy touch in the mix and the hat was the perfect way to tie it all in together. Are you a fan of this overall style? Hope you are all having a great start to the week so far!
Woow so cool..love it!!!
