I’m back from my Montreal road trip and I can’t wait to share that whole experience with you all. I had such an amazing time and took a ton of photos. If you follow me on instagram then you already saw some and I apologize for the excessive uploads! My recap post will be coming later on this week.
So for today’s look, I’ve got on another floral romper. The colors are actually neon but they didn’t pick up as much on camera like they do in person. When I wear something with a lot of print and colors, I sometimes like to keep the rest of the look toned down and neutral so this time I went with black & gold. Ruffle shorts are a big trend right now as I am seeing them almost everywhere. I got myself two pairs that I will be wearing soon. An outfit like this is great for going out with friends on one of these summer nights. The low neckline adds a little bit of sex appeal while the ruffle shorts & floral print bring femininity to the look.
One of my style tips when wearing rompers is to pair a thin belt on top to help define your waistline. Sometimes rompers can somewhat take over your figure because of the material, but belting it is a great way to keep your shape. It also helps to break up the print. This little heart shaped belt has become such an essential piece for me over the past year or so! It was less than $15 and it’s still in great condition.
