It’s a grey day on the blog today! Speaking of which, I still have not seen 50 Shades Of Grey. I read all 3 books and loved them so much and heard that the movie was a disappointment. 🙁 Did you any of you watch it? Trying to see if I should go and see it or not. [lol]

Monochrome outfits take “matchy matchy” to a whole other level, but I admit that I really like these types of outfits. It makes me think of that quote, “Does this black match?” [haha] It’s fun to create an outfit with different shades of the same color. I have done this before, but this time I wanted to focus on the color grey. I was on the hunt for more colored denim when I came across this pair. My initial thought was to style it with other pieces in the same color family. I got this sweater back in February for only $5 on the sales rack at Cotton On. I wore it with a plaid skirt for fashion week, but it was hard to see it since I had a coat on with it. It’s super soft and cozy. I actually layered a long sleeve shirt underneath because it’s still kind of cold over here. The next thing I added was this hat [of course] and then this plaid scarf to break up the solid colors. I don’t have grey shoes, so I went with black pumps along with a black bag to balance it all out. I really like how it came out! How do you feel about monochrome looks?
Have a great Wednesday loves!
