My mom and I have been trying to venture out a little more on the weekends to discover new locations for shooting. We went to a different section of my favorite park aka my “happy place” and she pointed out this section, which I absolutely loved. Funny story though. Right after taking these photos, I got bit on the eye by a mosquito, a huge bug flew onto my mother’s back, we had an audience of about 10 people wanting to fish on the dock so they stood there staring at us [silent pressure to leave] and then moments later it started pouring. Oh, and the whole time it was extremely windy by the water so my skirt kept doing the Marilyn Monroe. It’s just funny that we literally always have some type of challenge when shooting, so we just laugh it off! I swear we should have a show called The Adventures of Naty & Julie. I share some of our shenanigans on snapchat [natymichele] from time to time. 😉
What I’m Wearing
Top: Dynamite | Skirt: Cotton On | Sandals: M4DE Shoes
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff | Sunglasses: Ray-Ban
I was in a very colorful mood this day as you can see from my outfit. The prints, especially floral, have made their way back into my wardrobe without me even realizing it. I swear they just snuck in there. I based my outfit around this denim flounce skirt. How cute is it?! I know that I will be able to get a lot of use out of it this summer. I somewhat matched the skirt to these sandals, which by the way are beyond comfortable. These will definitely be a great travel shoe. They’ve officially been added to my ever growing collecting of lace-ups. I’m not quite sure how to steer away from this style just yet. I don’t even think that I want to. The final touch to compete this outfit was my pink mini tote. I wanted to bring that color out of the print in my top. I felt and looked so summery! I need to start styling more casual outfits like this for the season.
Thanks for stopping by today. Happy almost Friday! <3
Lol based on your description, I'd have to agree with you on the show idea. The pictures are stunning as always,I often forget that your mom is you're photographer, she's good! Cute look btw, I especially like the skirt.
