THE WAY WE ARE

I wore this outfit last Friday but wanted to wait and post it this week because the shirt I am wearing is to help promote the new site of The Way We Are.  It just launched today! You’ve probably seen me wearing a few of her bracelets on my blog & instagram.  I definitely love everything in her shop so make sure to check it out! You won’t be disappointed.

One of the easiest and most comfortable pieces I own are these boyfriend jeans.  I love dressing them up with heels or making them more casual with a graphic tee.  I honestly prefer these over my skinny jeans.  This denim is super soft which I feel makes them more wearable.  Who wants to wear stiff denim all day? Not me! lol This outfit has a real casual vibe but to dress it up a bit I added my black Prabal shoes and new favorite statement necklace.  Pieces like this one are such a great addition to any outfit because it really makes them POP.  One of things that I love most about this one is how it sparkles.  It shines bright like a diamond, as Rihanna would say!Speaking of diamonds, I have a milestone birthday coming up in 6 months (can’t even believe it) and I’ve really been thinking about buying myself a diamond ring from My Jewelry Box, preferably a black or colored one.  It’s something that I have always wanted and of course it would be great to receive one as a gift, but I think there’s something so rewarding about being able to treat yourself to something you really want.  I just think it symbolizes something so much more.  Do any of you feel that way too?I’m headed into NY tomorrow afternoon and then I have a super early flight Friday morning.  I am not sure if I can get another outfit post in before I go, but I will at least try and post something else.
