It’s trench coat season, or at least that’s what I like to call it. 🙂 This is my favorite time of year to wear them as we start to transition into the spring.  The temps are still somewhat cool, but it’s also starting to get warmer out so coats like this are perfect.  I prefer the oversized style though as they’ve got more of a relaxed and chill vibe to them.  I’ve had this one since last year and actually wore it several times on the blog before.  One of the looks I styled with it last summer was a favorite.  You might remember I wore it with distressed denim cutoffs, the same shoes and a similar grey v-neck.  It sort of inspired me to wear it again but this time with jeans.  Do you ever love a look so much that you just can’t help but wear it again in almost the exact same way?  I wore a different oversized trench recently on instagram that has a very similar feel to this outfit as well.  I guess it’s my new style phase?!

I’m not sure why, but I just love this grey and khaki green combo.  It’s kind of unexpected yet pairs so well together, at least in my opinion.  I can’t get enough of v-neck tees.  They’re such a great staple to have. The green snakeskin print pumps helped to bring this entire outfit together and also made it stand out a bit more.  I swear that having a pair of snakeskin print shoes is a must!  Between these and my grey ones I just can’t stop wearing them.  Initially I wore this with dark distressed skinny jeans but to be honest I did not love how it looked together when photographed.  I ended up switching over to a lighter wash and more of a relaxed fit.  I think it went better with the overall vibe that I was aiming for.
