A Letter To You, My Readers

To My Readers,

I needed to start this off with a huge THANK YOU to everyone who took the time to read my new BTBS article the other day. Whether you left comments here on the blog, on my social channels or sent me messages privately, it is all appreciated. The more I write these types of posts [and honestly the more I write in general] I am realizing where my true passion lies. It’s in the connection with all of you and I feel so lucky that I am able to share my life and my journey in this crazy, yet awe-inspiring industry.

The Internet can be a scary space. I never know how things will be perceived or whether or not anyone will actually care enough to take 5-10 minutes out of their day to read my words. I can’t explain what it feels like when I receive feedback on my posts. I love reading your comments and getting your point of view. I love creating these types of conversations; conversations that have substance and depth. The kind that go beyond the surface level. The best is when you tell me how much you could relate to what I wrote. It may not seem like a big deal to some, but to me it’s everything and I never take it for granted.

The beauty of having this blog is that it’s not just about “pretty pictures” or about color coordinating my profile to make it look aesthetically pleasing. It’s about my life – the good and the bad. It’s about my words and innermost thoughts. Sometimes they’re deep and expose my vulnerability and other times they’re lighthearted and fun. Either way, it’s real. It will always be real because it’s coming from my heart. The best part is knowing that you are here to actually read these words instead of just scrolling past them in your newsfeed. This is one of the main reasons why my blog will always be my number one.

I know that I have not been putting out content on here as consistently as I used to, but I promise it’s all for good reason. I am doing my best to make sure that I am 100% happy with everything before I post it. I want to be excited about it. I want there to be some value in it for you. Gone are the days where I force my content or post something just to have it go up. If a few days go by and I am silent on here, just know I’m still working and brainstorming new ideas. I am constantly thinking about the next step for my blog. A new redesign/revamp might be coming soon among a few other things. I want to keep improving and evolving this space as I move further along in my life. I sincerely hope that you continue on the journey with me!

Several months back I announced that I was going to officially start writing my book. I have to be truthful in saying that I haven’t been as consistent with this lately, but I plan to get back to it within the next week or two. It’s going to be a work in progress for awhile and it’s something that I definitely can’t rush, but I know it will be so worth it in the end. I can’t wait for the day to come when it’s finished. I know my angel will be the first one to read it. Promise to share updates on this later as I get further along with my writing. As for now, I’m still in the beginning stages. I think I need you guys to light that fire under my ass to keep me motivated to do this!

I woke up with this all on my heart and felt the need to express it to you in letter form. Is that weird? Hopefully not. But really, the point of this was to simply show my gratitude as I don’t think you truly understand the depth of it. I can’t thank you all enough for your kindness. Please, keep spreading that kindness and not just to me, but to everyone. You can literally make or break someone’s entire day with the words you choose to share. Let them be positive and up-lifting. Remember, you never know what is going on in someone else’s life. You don’t always see what happens behind the photos. Focus on someone’s strengths instead of pointing out their weaknesses. The sad part is that we all already know all of our flaws and don’t always realize the things that make us so great and unique. Help someone to see their greatness. Let’s all shine together. I love you. ❤️

P.S. On a completely unrelated note, I’m headed down to Cape May for my bestie’s bachelorette weekend. I’m looking forward to another mini getaway and this time I get to be with a few of my closest friends. Make sure to follow the fun on my insta-stories!

All my love,

  2. You are the sweetest!!!! It’s always great to read your post and one of the best thing I love about you is the fact that you actually reply to DM or comments regardless of the numbers of followers you have. Keep doing your thing!!!!

    • Naty

Your comment made me smile! I will always reply. Talking with you all is honestly the best part about all of this! Thank you so much for reading my posts! xo

  3. Can’t wait to read your book! Have you heard of the Kitchen Timer method? Lauren Graham used it to write her last book and I’m using it for all sorts of things, but it’s a really great way to make yourself focus. Keep it up!
