Black & White Chic

What I’m Wearing

Blazer | Top | Pants | Necktie | – all from Tobi

Shoes: Prima Donna | Clutch: bebe

Happy Friday my loves!  I decided to end this week with another new style post since not much has changed since last week’s Life Chats. I’ve honestly just been trying my best to stay focused on my goals and keep my priorities in check.  Sometimes I catch myself getting caught up and worried in the insignificant things, so I’ve been snapping myself out of that almost instantly.  It makes a huge difference!  I posted this quote a few days ago on Instagram and it says, “What she tackles, she conquers.”  This has been my daily mindset.  Let’s crush those goals.

I got lucky enough to wear this outfit now during the winter when we had that one absolutely gorgeous day in the 60s last week. I actually got these pieces specifically for fashion week and was happy to team up with Tobi like I did the last few seasons.  It was obviously freezing during that time though, so I ended up wearing the pants, top and necktie to a dinner at night.  I was able to bundle up so it was ok, but unfortunately did not get any photos of the outfit besides on my snapchat.  The only difference with the look is that I added my wide brim hat.  Once the temps went back up, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to wear these pieces again, only this time I added on the blazer and removed the hat.  I had just gotten my hair done a few days before and really wanted the new color to show.  It was super windy though, hence my hair flying all over the place.  At least the wind helped create some extra volume though. 😉

I wanted to keep the black and white theme throughout the whole outfit.  I really love how the blazer is longer in the back making it so different from all of the other blazers in my closet.  I also really like the white lining on these pants creating that sporty-chic feel.  Unfortunately they didn’t show up in the photos as much as I would have liked them too.  This necktie has been a recent go-to for me and since it’s so long it can be worn several ways.  Are you a fan of this current trend?  I know I am!  Thanks so much for stopping by today and don’t forget to check out all my other posts from this week.  I hope that you all have an amazing weekend.  I’m going to be spending most of tomorrow with my niece and I can’t wait! <3

  6. The hair looks great! I feel you girl on the wind, there's nothing more annoying than to have all your hair set and ready to go, only to have it destroyed within a few gusts.
