It’s no surprise that we all get style inspiration from other people. I absolutely love street style and seeing the creative ways that others put their looks together. It challenges me to step outside of my comfort zone and try new things. For today’s post, Target teamed me up with Elizabeth, from A Keene Sense Of Style, for a fun little blogger styling session. Elizabeth has great style and I’ve always loved the way that she pieces everything together, so it was awesome working with her on this!
My style is very simple & chic with an edgy twist and Elizabeth’s is very polished and feminine. She kept both of our styles in mind when putting together this outfit for me. She picked out this plaid blazer and paired it with a navy button down, which I absolutely love. Plaid is a big print trend for the fall season and definitely one of my favorites. I left the top buttons undone to give it a relaxed vibe. Since this combo can be seen as “preppy,” she wanted to juxtapose that by pairing it with slightly distressed jeans. We then added in pointy toe pumps to elongate my legs and the perfect tan crossbody bag to complete the look. I’m really happy with the way this all turned out and although our styles are different, there are also some similarities as well.
Have you ever let someone else style you? You should definitely try it out!
