Breaking Bad

I binge-watched the entire 5 seasons of Breaking Bad on Netflix within a week.  Hands down that was the best show I have ever seen.  It literally consumed me.  I became so obsessed with it that I actually think this outfit was inspired by Walter White in some way. [lol]  It made me feel like a badass!  But seriously though, what is life after Breaking Bad?  I’m having major withdrawals over here.  Where’s Jesse Pinkman when you need him?

I noticed lately that I have been gravitating more towards black and a darker color palette.  There’s no real reason as to why, but I do realize that every so often I get into these different color phases.  This look came together pretty quickly and to be honest, there was not much of a thought process behind it.  I was sort of rushing to get ready and all I knew was that I needed to hurry the hell up!  Black is the perfect go-to, of-course, so I decided to just make things easy and stick with that.  I went for this mock neck sweater and layered on my boyfriend blazer.  I really love pairing lightweight sweaters and blazers together.  I think the mock neck is what made me feel more like a badass. [ha!] This hat is like my second skin, so adding that on was a no brainer.  Plus, now that it’s starting to cool down the cold weather static is already here!  Hats save my hair during this time of the year.  

I finished off the look with these leopard print booties.  I’m obsessed!  I had been eyeing these at Target for weeks, but never got them.  The last time I went there they were on sale for 20% off and these were the last pair in my size.  I obviously had to get them, right?  Yeah, I got these plus another pair.  Target gets me every single time.  They’re seriously so comfortable and perfect for either a day or nighttime look.
