Insta Outfits

Happy Tuesday loves!  It’s been awhile since I did a post on some of the outfits I have shared to Instagram.  A lot of these looks don’t make it to the blog for different reasons.  Some of them I might have just taken one quick photo and for others I might have only gotten one good photo! Either way though, there’s always a story behind each of them so I wanted to do a new round-up of some of the most recent ones.

This was my Easter dress and it’s actually from Charlotte Russe, believe it or not.  I was hoping to find cherry blossom trees as my background and ended up finding a bunch of them in a row.  They are seriously so pretty and they definitely make me excited for this spring season. We snapped some pics in different areas and this one ended up coming out the best.  I didn’t do much this Easter, but I did spend the day with my mom and of course I wanted to be wearing my Sunday best. I kept the look simple with different shades of nude. I thought it was perfect for the day.

Literally the exact moment that I sat down to shoot this look, it started raining out of nowhere.  It was so beautiful and sunny out and then all of a sudden the weather just changed completely.  I wasn’t really trying to pose for this photo, it was more of a “Of course this just happened! Let’s get one quick snap!” and my mom got it! I swear these things always happen to us when shooting.  There’s always a bunch of obstacles. I love this photo though.  It was perfect timing to capture my initial expression. 😉

This was an outfit that I was hoping to shoot for the blog, but truthfully the photos were just not turning out the way I wanted them to.  We had issues with lighting and my shirt kept bulging out every time I moved.  We did get this one good shot though and I believe it was the very last one that my mom took.  Last time’s a charm? I love button downs so much, but sometimes tucking them in can be a pain in the ass.  I do love the way this one looks with these girlfriend jeans though.  Super laid back and chic!

I went back to Garrett Mountain observation to see the view and take a quick photo for a fun campaign that I did on Instagram. I couldn’t resist sitting on the ledge and getting that view behind me. For some reason it makes me feel like I am away somewhere, even though I am right in Jersey!  I obviously wear these TopShop black knee ripped jeans more than I should, but they are just too good. I love them paired with this fuzzy faux fur coat and my lace-up flats.
I’ve got this thing for trench coats, especially oversized ones.  This was another outfit that I was hoping to shoot for the blog, but again it did not turn out the way I wanted.  It was just one of those days where truthfully I was not fully into it.  It was super windy out and we were chasing the light.  I did get at least one good pic though and wanted to share the look.  I got this trench last year from H&M and it’s definitely a favorite.  I love the color paired with my leopard print pumps.

Which look is your favorite?  Thanks for checking out today’s post! <3

  1. Don't you just hate when blog shoots don't go as planned? I love all the outfits though, especially all the looks with the lace up ballet flats. Also your burgundy fur coat is such a statement piece.
