Monday Motivation

“Start thinking bigger, praying bigger, expecting bigger. It’s a new day. God wants to take you where you’ve never been.”

It’s the start to a new week and a new season, so I thought it would be fun and different to kick things off with some new motivation and inspo. If you follow me on Instagram, then you know that I love sharing inspirational quotes. I think it’s important to post these positive messages from time to time. I will always choose to use my platform in an empowering and uplifting way. The best part about it for me is when someone comments saying that they really needed to see that message. I love being able to share something with someone when they needed it the most. I’ve noticed that a lot of people have been saving these quotes that I post, so I just created my own little hashtag so that it’s easy to find them at once. You can find them all with #natysinspo. For today, I wanted to share a few of my favorite ones that I have posted recently.

“I never lose. Either I win or I learn.”

We are always learning! If you don’t win, don’t see it as a loss. See it as a lesson. Every set back makes you stronger. Every challenge helps you grow. All of this makes the success that much sweeter. It’s simply about gaining a different perspective. It’s a new day, a new week and a new season. Time to kick Monday’s ass.

“The comeback is always stronger than the setback.”

Just in case you needed a reminder, here it is. I witnessed this first hand. Losing my father and losing my job at the same time was definitely the biggest set back of my life. For so long I wondered how the hell I would ever make it though. I still don’t know how it happened, but somewhere along the way I got to where I am today. I found my strength. I found my passion. I found my happiness. This was my comeback. Creating this blog was a comeback. Creating a business for myself was my comeback. I still have my challenges and struggles, but I’m stronger than I ever was before. It may have shattered my soul and my heart, but it did not break me completely.

“She was powerful not because she wasn’t afraid, but because she went on so strongly despite the fear.”

It’s not about being fearless. We all have fears. We’re afraid to fail, afraid of the unknown, afraid to live outside of out comfort. It’s about pushing past the things that scare us the most and continuing along on our journeys anyway. It’s about allowing that fear to motivate us to face it head on. That’s where our true strength and growth comes into play. That’s when we discover things about ourselves that we never knew before. So if you’re scared, that OK. Just don’t let that fear cripple you. Don’t let it stunt your growth. Keep on keeping on.

“I am learning to love the sound of my feet walking away from things not meant for me.”

I shared this in my post last week and I had to share it again because it holds such a
powerful message that should not go unnoticed. It also leads into yet another quote that I ended up using as a caption for this one. “When I loved myself enough, I began leaving
whatever wasn’t healthy. This meant people, jobs, my own beliefs and habits- anything that kept me small. My judgement called it disloyal. Now I see it as self-loving.”

“Your mind will always believe everything that you tell it. Feed it faith. Feed it truth. Feed it with love.”

The way we think is so powerful. When you learn to change your mindset you will start to see so many changes and improvements with how you feel every day. It’s all about believing in ourselves a little bit more and feeding our minds with more faith, truth and love. We just need to be kinder to ourselves. Always know that there is so much greatness inside of you. Don’t be afraid to tap into that. You will surprise yourself with your true capabilities.

What are some of your favorite motivational and inspiring quotes? Wishing you all an
amazing week and spring season! ❤️
