Oversized Plaid

Outfit Details

Plaid Shirt: H&M (love this one) / Sweater: Forever21 / Jeans: Target (similar style)

Shoes: BooHoo / Bag: French Connection (love this)

If you checked out my packing post the other day, then you might recognize this shirt.  I couldn’t wait to wear it.  I really wanted to style it as a shirt dress since it’s so long (reason I love oversized pieces) but since it’s not warm enough yet, I opted for distressed denim and a cropped sweater.  I am still bringing this to Texas though and might end up wearing it again in a different way over there.  Plaid is such a classic print that will never go out of style.  I love how it can be seen as both preppy and grungy, depending on how you wear it.  This one is perfect for tying around your waist if you want to do the whole 90s trend. 🙂

I recently mentioned that I’m an iPhone app junkie, especially when it comes to fashion/style apps.  I am always looking for new ones to download for style inspiration and to share my looks as well.  I recently found out about WEAR, a shoppable lookbook app, where you can discover new fashion and actually make purchases within the app.  It’s super easy to upload your own looks too.  What I love most about it is that it started out in Japan and just started making its way into the US, so this is such a great way to share your personal style with international fashionistas as well as checking out their styles too!  I’m always amazed by the fashion outside of the US.  From what I have seen so far on the homepage, the users really show each other so much love, making it a great fashion community.

When I first started blogging, I was uploading my outfits on every fashion app I could find.  It helped so much in terms of gaining more exposure and I was inspired by so many people.  I’ve been doing my best to start doing this again, so I just uploaded a few outfits of my own on WEAR. You can check out my page here and download the app as well. If you do, let me know your username so I can check out your looks! 🙂

Wishing you all a happy weekend. <3

  3. Thank you girl! And that's awesome! Definitely posting your looks on style apps and social media platforms is such a great way to gain exposure for your blog. So much of it is consistency as well and just creating new content that makes sense for you and the voice you want your blog to have. Wish you so much luck with it! <3
