Happiest of Fridays my loves.
Sometimes I come across quotes that really speak to me and when they do I feel the need to spread that message. So today’s Life Chats is based off of these 6 words:
You might have already seen this quote on my instagram earlier today. Initially I was not planning to make it into today’s post, but I just felt the need to elaborate a bit more. I love when I post a quote and someone says, “I really needed this today.” I truly believe that we receive messages when we need them the most. It always happens for me too that when I have to be reminded of something, I come across that message someway or somehow. Maybe that’s a coincidence, but maybe it’s not. A quick side note and something that I never really spoke about before is that for a long time, I used to want to be a motivational speaker. After losing my father and going through so many ups and downs in my life, it just felt like a natural thing for me to do. I wanted to be able to share my struggles and how I overcame them because I know that SO many other people are constantly battling against things every single day. Starting a conversation that matters is a beautiful thing and so is reminding people of what they’re capable of and showing them that they have so much more inner strength than they realize. I think that’s another thing that I love so much about this Life Chats series. There’s always some type of message that I want to get across and having someone read these words when they need them the most is incredible, even if it’s only one person.
Now getting back to those 6 words and the way that I interpret them. You have to believe in your journey and trust your struggles. We create the tone of voice that is inside our minds. So if that voice is constantly filled with doubt and negativity, only you can change that. Self motivation is such a powerful thing and while it’s not always easy, it is necessary. Trust me. I definitely have my moments when I need a good motivational push. I get into my slumps just like everyone else and have discussed them here on the blog before. The important thing though is that we get out of those slumps and that mindset. It’s great to be motivated and inspired by others, but I believe that type of motivation is temporary. In order for it to be long lasting, it has to start from within each one of us. Don’t bet against yourself. It’s natural to have doubts sometimes, but your faith in yourself should be greater. I don’t know why it’s so much easier for us to say that we cannot do something than it is to say that we can. It should be the other way around. Whenever you feel like the odds are against you, just remind yourself that your soul is rooting for you. If you want something then go and get it. If you need to make a change then make it. Train that inner voice to believe in yourself and your capabilities a little bit more. The only one standing in your way is YOU.
Whether I know you personally or not, I have so much love for all of you. If you needed to read these words today then I am happy to be the one to have typed them out for you.
All my love. <3

So happy! xo
Definitely trench coats, too! I love beige color. Mine I bought in Paris, two years ago. I still wear it and I think it is a great part of a basic woman's wardrobe:)
