What I’m Wearing
Dress: Lord & Taylor Design Lab | Shoes: Zara [old, similar style] | Clutch: bebe
Bracelet: Taudrey
I’m feeling like a real life emoji in this red off-the-shoulder dress from Lord & Taylor’s exclusive line, Design Lab! [insert her here, you know the one] As soon as I put it on I immediately wished that I was in Puerto Rico, where my family is from. My mom even said the same thing! It made her a bit nostalgic. Speaking of, I have not been there in years and seriously need to make my way back over there soon. Maybe this year? I hope.
I’m really into this whole off-the-shoulder trend for spring and I am already seeing it everywhere. I’m pretty sure you have too. It’s fun, flirty and definitely adds a touch of sexiness, but it’s not overdone. I love the embroidery and front buttons on this dress. It’s all in the details! This could definitely be styled differently and given more of a boho-chic vibe. I just couldn’t help but to dress it up though. When I shot this look, we had hit a high of 80 degrees, which is not exactly normal for us this time of year. It was the perfect opportunity for me to whip out the open toed shoes! I swear I have a pedicure, the polish is just nude. [lol] Speaking of nude, I’ve always been a fan of it paired with red. I think that black can sometimes be a little too harsh, but it all depends on the look and vibe that you are going for. For me, wearing this color with the dress really helped to soften things up. And as always, I went with a red lip. I literally just can’t stop.
Thanks for stopping by today! 🙂
