Happy Monday beauties! I am a bit excited about today’s look because it’s been quite some time since I’ve gotten all dressed up for a post, besides NYE. I wore this outfit two weeks ago for a family dinner that we had to celebrate my niece’s 1st birthday. This all came
together so last minute and I really loved the outcome. I ended up re-wearing this a few days later so that I could shoot it for the blog. So happy that I did. ☺️
Outfit Details
Sweater: Zara [similar] | Skirt: Target [old, love this] | Boots: Stuart Weitzman [similar]
Tights: H&M | Bag: Mezzanotte [also love] | Earrings: H&M
I am a huge fan of texture mixing and it’s actually one of my favorite things to do when putting a look together. I feel like it makes an outfit pop out so much more. I think I prefer it over mixing prints and color blocking. Don’t get me wrong I love those too, but I think a good texture mix can be super chic. Sweaters paired with (faux) leather skirts will forever be a favorite combo of mine, but this time I took it a bit further with the suede boots and these amazing tassel earrings. Can’t lie, I’m a little obsessed with the mix!
So quick little story, I stopped by the Zara sale a few weeks ago and was like “Wow, I’m about to go in!” There was so much goodness for such a steal. I mean some of the prices were unreal. I tried on a ton of things and guess what? I ended up leaving with this sweater only and it wasn’t even on sale, it was full price. Just my luck. lol But I do love this batwing sweater. It’s soft, cozy and extremely versatile to style. Since I had just gotten it, I knew that I wanted to wear it right away. But with what exactly? I wasn’t sure. After rummaging through all of my things, I came across this faux leather skirt from literally 3 years ago that I had only worn once. It was a perfect match! I love when I come across older pieces that I can wear again in completely new ways. I swear we all have so many hidden gems inside our closets and drawers that we have completely forgotten about.
Since I was set on wearing these tassel earrings, I knew that I needed to pull my hair back. Thankfully it’s getting long enough so that now I can start playing around with different hairstyles! Oh, how I have missed this. I used a curling wand to get some wavy texture and then just pulled it back into a low bun leaving a few pieces of hair out in the front. I really love those messy undone looks that are still a bit polished. Does that make any sense? This will probably be my new go-to look for when I have to get dressed up. What do you think?! Thanks for stopping by! 😘

Love your hairdo. It’s a new year and it’s definitely time for me to switch things up in the hair department. Thanks for the inspo, Naty!

I love the cozy knit with this gorgeous skirt! I actually didn’t find anything this time around with zara and usually I find at least a couple things! I might try again later this week.

Hi Naty!
I love this whole outfit, especially the sweater.
Hello Naty,
I like the sweater and the boots, the skirt not so much, but over all the style works well together.
