The temperatures are rising and it makes me feel so good!  It’s crazy how much the sunshine can change your mood and attitude. I mean, just look at this snapchat video that I shared on Instagram. I think that pretty much sums it all up. lol  This is the main reason why I love snapchat.  I get to show my silly side as well as everything else happening in my life that goes beyond just photos. 😉

I wore this outfit to celebrate my mom’s birthday on Monday.  We just went out to dinner and decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather to do a quick shoot.  Once I knew that it was warmer out, I needed to bring out the shorts!  I actually got these last year when I went to a Whitney Eve event and I only wore them once to a dinner during NYFW back in September.  I realized that I never actually styled them for a blog post.  How cute are they?!  They’re super comfy and easy to wear too. This was one of those looks that literally came together in 5 minutes and I was so happy with the outcome.  That doesn’t always happen to me!  I paired the shorts with this button down blouse that I absolutely love because it’s easier for me to wear it than a regular button down AND it’s dressier.  It goes with literally everything so it’s become a great staple piece.  I wanted to bring out the pink in the floral print so these pumps were the perfect choice.  I love adding in a pop of color, especially during the spring & summer months.

I’ve got a lot happening for the month of May with both work and personal things, including another wedding and a baby shower!  I still can’t believe that we are just about halfway through the year.  I had said in one of my Life Chats that I wanted this year to be a big travel year for me, so I am currently in the process of trying to figure out my next international trip and I might do it solo again.  As of now I think I’ve got my eyes set on London, Paris & possibly Rome or Venice.  I would do it all in one big trip and probably in late July or November for my birthday.  I can’t wait to share more about this when I start booking everything.  Fingers crossed I can make it happen!

Have a great Wednesday loves. <3
