Happy Friday babes! I always seem to be a bit behind on content after traveling so I thought today would be perfect to share some of those outfits that I’ve only posted to Instagram. I recently figured out a way to share my IG posts directly to here, which I thought was kind of cool!
I actually wore and shot this look yesterday and was hoping for a full blog post with it, but as usual that did not happen! I really like culottes, although they are not the easiest thing to shoot in especially when it’s windy out. I haven’t worn a pair like these in awhile, so I wanted to style them in a different and edgy way. I know that they can be tricky, especially if you’re short like me, but I still think that they are fun to wear and that’s what fashion should be about, right?! 😉
I wore this to my cousin’s wedding last Sunday at the Liberty House. Look at that view! Whenever I have a special occasion and need a dress, I tend to wait until the last minute and somehow I always get lucky finding something. Bloomingdales has been my go-to because I usually find something that I love on sale, or even if it’s full price the brands I look for aren’t too expensive. This is how I came across the brand Bardot. I wore a dress from them to the wedding in Charleston and one on NYE. This one was hanging on the sales rack and only $39 marked down from $130. Score! It was the only one in my size too and literally fit me like a glove. I just fell in love with it because it’s so different from anything else that I have, especially with the leaf lace. The price made me love it even more. lol[I linked the dress above and it shows $65, so maybe it’s just listed as more on the website]
On Saturday I went to an event at the French Connection store in Soho for the launch of their new denim line and I got to wear a few of my favorite pieces from the brand. Thanks FC! I loved this dress so much because of the print and thought that it was so perfect for the season. I was actually thinking of wearing it again to a baby shower that I have coming up. We shall see! And how fab are these shoes?! When picking out my pieces I immediately knew that I wanted to wear them with this dress. I don’t have any other shoes in this color or style. They were actually pretty comfy too!
I wore this on Mother’s Day for brunch and the movies. It was so beautiful outside, but so windy! Let’s just say it was not very easy wearing this dress. Ha! I loved the light purple shade though and decided to do some color blocking with my favorite pink mini bag. I also brought out these caged sandals again that my sister secretly stole from me months ago! Rude.

About two weeks ago I partnered with the Borgata in AC to check out their new nightclub and I brought my mom along for the fun. We snapchatted the night away and all of your comments were hysterical! I ended up wearing this burgundy lace dress that I’ve actually had for quite some time now. I checked the site and it’s no longer available. 🙁 It was such a great dress to dance the night away!
In other news, all of the new changes that will be happening with the blog are more than half way done! There were a couple of delays here and there, but it’s picking up speed again and I am getting so excited [and nervous] to launch! All I can say is that this has been a long time coming and it feels good to see it all unfold. Can’t wait to share more. Love you guys, happy weekend! <3
