Take Me To Spain

I feel like I haven’t done a normal style post in quite some time, but I have to admit that I’ve been loving the expansion of my content on here. It’s so refreshing and has been constantly keeping me inspired to share new things with all of you. I am also loving the feedback that I have gotten and let me tell you something, you guys seriously brighten up my day. That may sound cheesy, but it’s the truth. It always seems that whenever I am feeling a little down or questioning whether or not my content makes some type of impact, I suddenly receive a sweet and supportive message from one of you. It literally lifts me up, so thank you for keeping me going.

I wanted to share a quick update with you guys first. You may have noticed that there is now a pop-up on my site for my new newsletter! A subscribe page will be up in a few days too, we are just making some minor tweaks/edits. I am almost ready to send out my first one and can’t wait to get this going. It’s pretty much a mini extension of my site where I can keep you up to date on a weekly basis with special announcements, behind-the-scenes
moments, and other fun surprises. I promise not to overwhelm you with a million emails, so I hope you will sign up and stay connected with me!

I have some new projects and partnerships that I have been working on and will be sharing that soon both on the blog and on my Instagram. I actually have an idea to do a whole write up on sponsored posts where I can share my perspective about it. I feel like there are a lot of misconceptions about bloggers using #ad and #sponsored. I know that it instantly turns some people off because they know we’re posting something that we were paid to post. There is so much more to it though and I really think I am going to touch on this in a Behind The Blogging Scenes post in the near future. Just know that whenever I partner with a brand, it’s because I truly like them, want to learn more about them, am excited to share them with you guys and actually believe in the product(s). I say NO quite often when something just isn’t a good fit or doesn’t make sense/feel right to me. Ok, enough of that for now. Stay tuned for a full post on this soon.

I am one month out from Spain (still need to book hotels, eek!) and this top will definitely be coming with me. I’ve tried out Stitch Fix a few times and asked the stylist to send me some pieces that I could wear on my trip. I got really happy when I saw this in my package and tried it on. It’s so loose fitted and flowy, so you knowwww I’ll be able to eat all the
amazing tapas and paella and hide my food baby. 👶🏽 But seriously, the print and style just gave me some major Spain vibes! Of course, I also love that it’s off-the-shoulder. I honestly don’t think that I will ever get tired of this trend. My shoulders have become my favorite body part to show off. I think it adds just the right amount of sex appeal, it’s flirty and super chic. I highly doubt that I will be packing any heels with me for this trip, so I could totally style this completely different with a pair of sandals or flats for dinner. I was initially going to wait and just wear this over there, but I have zero patience and new clothes make me happy! It looks like I am going to be all over the place in Spain from Madrid to Seville and to Barcelona, so I have to make sure that I do not overpack. It’s also very hard to travel around with a huge suitcase when you are by yourself. Trust me, not fun at all especially when you are getting in and out of trains. I totally learned my lesson in Ireland when I was standing outside in the rain like a lost little girl looking for a taxi with 3 bags.

Hope you all have an amazing rest of the week. Yay for it almost being Friday!
