Today is my dad’s birthday. He would have been 79. I always try to find ways to honor and celebrate him. I took myself out and asked for a dessert with a candle. I told the waitress about my dad and that it was his birthday. She said she lost hers too and then she gave me the dessert complimentary. So sweet. 🥹 Happy Birthday dad! Infusion number 5 is behind me and all I can say is you better work bitch! 🤭 It’s still so wild to me that two years have already gone by since I got diagnosed with MS. There have been many ebbs and flows. Yesterday’s infusion was such a different experience for me than my very first one. I weirdly felt calm and at ease, maybe because I’m finally getting used to it all. So happy my mama was able to come and hang with me. We had too much fun making that reel!⁣ 😄

My first few infusions always made me feel so anxious, so I tried to let go and lean into it a little bit today. As my nurse said, “It’s all part of the journey. You have to find ways to enjoy yourself in the process.” 🧡⁣

Two years ago on September 4th, I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. This is my diagnosis story. For the sake of time, I didn’t go into every detail. I had to edit this down a lot because it was really long 🙃 but I do want to mention my earliest known symptoms date back to 2017. I hope my story can help someone else.
